Bio-Edge, Inc. is a California corporation that provides innovative solutions and custom synthesis of novel polymers and material applications on a contract basis. Founded in 1993 with a focus on ophthalmic applications, the Company has diversified its research and development to include opportunities for medical devices, polymeric materials applied as adhesives, bio-compatible open cell foams, submicron-size pigments, membranes, controlled release matrices, and amphiphilic polymers.



In addition to custom synthesis, Bio-Edge provides cGMP chemical process development, pilot-scale, and manufacturing services to its customers. Our 7200 square foot facility is equipped with jacketed chemical reactors that range in volume from 250ml to 50L with temperature control capabilities from less than -50°C to greater than 200°C. Bio-Edge has served clients that include both large global companies and smaller start-ups. Our development services target organizations that do not have in-house R&D or pilot-scale chemical manufacturing capabilities and desire an easy-to-work-with flexible partner.
